Terms of Use

1. Overview

blprnt is a cross-platform, local-first desktop application that enables project management, code generation, editing, and automation using external AI model providers. The App contains no cloud backend, and no user code is uploaded to blprnt servers. The App may interact with your filesystem and local shell only when you authorize it.

2. License to Use the App

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or commercial development purposes. You may not:

• reverse engineer or decompile the App
• bypass licensing or attestation mechanisms
• redistribute or sell the App without permission

3. No Guarantees on Output

You understand and agree that:

• AI-generated code may be incorrect, insecure, or harmful.
• blprnt makes no guarantees about correctness, safety, or fitness for any purpose.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and verifying all outputs before using them.

blprnt acts only as a proxy to your selected AI providers.

4. Local Execution & Permissions

The App may execute:

• file read/write operations
• shell commands
• project creation and modification
• commands using local CLI tools (e.g., Git, Docker, gcloud)

These actions occur only when triggered or authorized by you. You are responsible for managing access to your machine, reviewing tool output, and controlling credentials used by local tools.

5. Use With Third-Party AI Providers

When you connect the App to an external AI service (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Grok):

• All requests go directly from your device to the provider.
• Your use is additionally governed by that provider’s Terms of Use.
• You must comply with the provider’s prohibited use policies.

We do not control or monitor how third-party AI providers process your data.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will:

• use the App only for lawful purposes
• comply with third-party AI provider terms
• secure your environment, credentials, and systems
• review AI-generated output before running or deploying it

You also agree that you will not use the App to violate the acceptable use policies of any AI provider invoked through blprnt.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use blprnt (or any integrated AI provider) for activities prohibited by the underlying model provider, including but not limited to:

• illegal activities
• generating malware
• exploiting or attacking networks
• prohibited security testing
• harmful or abusive content

You are responsible for understanding the usage policies of each model provider you integrate.

8. Intellectual Property

• The blprnt software, branding, and documentation are owned by us.
• AI-generated output belongs to you subject to the policies of your AI provider.
• We claim no ownership over code, prompts, files, or content created using the App.

9. Software Updates

We may issue updates, improvements, or patches. Some updates may be required for continued functionality.

10. Beta Status

blprnt is currently in beta and offered free of charge. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time. We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for damages arising from AI-generated code, shell execution, filesystem access, or integration with third-party services.
• You assume all risk associated with using the App.
• You are responsible for verifying and validating all outputs.

12. Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, conducted in accordance with standard SaaS dispute-resolution norms. You agree to waive your right to participate in class actions.

13. Termination

We may suspend or revoke your license to use the App if:

• you violate these Terms
• you circumvent licensing or attestation systems
• you use the App in a prohibited manner

You may stop using the App at any time.
